hello, my name is cynthia enciso.

meI am a Graphic Designer from southern california. I do print design, web design, and even some environmental graphics (signage). I also do a bit of photography, more as a hobby but also as a resource for my Graphic Design work. I have a Bachelors of Fine Art in Graphic Design from California State Polytechnic University Pomona. I have 6 years of experience in the Graphic Design industry and I am very passionate about what I do. I am a firm believer in doing things right or not at all so I have always put 100% into my work (even while working at a spa where I painted people green). I am currently accepting new work so if you are interested or have questions head over to the contact section.

On a more personal level, I am a techy nut, I am obsessed with trees, my Fathom Comics & Star Wars Potato Heads are essential to my workspace décor, I wish I could use Photoshop in real life, and I'd like everyone to know that I had the iPhone first! Still itching for more? Well you can visit me on any of the following locations:

While designing my site there were few things that I envisioned that were not possible with just simple html and css. Come in interwebs and pow! So many awesome people creating fantastic things and allowing everyone else to use them. So here are the little extras I used on my site. Thank you to the creators!

cufón

Is that a standard font I see? It sure isn't. To make my text headings not so standard I used cufón.

auto-scrolling slideshow

http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/javascript-ajax/building-an-auto-scrolling-slideshow-that-works-with-and-without-javascript/
For the slideshows on my home page and on my work sections, I used this nettuts tutorial, with some modifications of course. If you can, check out the rest of the tuts+ network http://tutsplus.com/, I discovered them when psdtuts had only a couple tutorials and they've since then expanded tremendously! They are a great resource for any designer.

smooth scroll

This little thing allows you to jump to your anchors nice and smooth. I planned to use a little more jump action throughout the site but didn't quite work out that way.
